Practice between sessions you can actually hear
Sound Quest gives students a short daily routine at home, covering speech sounds, reading and math, and keeps a record of what they practiced, including the recordings.
Structured sound practice
Target sounds are practiced in initial, medial and final positions and move up a ladder: words, phrases, sentences, reading aloud and conversation. Today: s, z and sh, with r and l on the way.
Carryover into conversation
Every lesson starts with a conversation about the student's interests, and the coach listens for target sounds as they talk, not only in drills.
Recordings to review
Listen to recorded reps, read-alouds and conversations with flagged words. Mark each rep yourself; your judgment overrides the software's, and you can see how often they agree.
Trends you can share
Accuracy for each sound by level and position, conversation accuracy, reading speed and comprehension, compared with the starting check-up, plus a printable report.
Caseloads for educators
We're building educator accounts with caseloads, so you can follow several students from one sign-in while families keep control of their child's account. It isn't available yet. Join the waitlist as an educator and tell us about your caseload, and we'll reach out as it opens.
A practice tool, not an assessment. Sound Quest's scores come from automated pronunciation scoring and are meant to guide home practice. It doesn't diagnose or treat speech or language disorders and isn't a standardized test. Treatment decisions stay with you.
